Autumn After Dark

Hi, Welcome to your October Cocoa Petite Box!

There’s something about the beginning of fall that makes me want to slow down.

Spiced desserts, cozy evenings, and something nostalgic.

I created these Nectarine Oat Cups as a simple way to turn a few everyday and seasonal ingredients, along with the salted caramel from your October Box, into something special.

I hope you make them, share them, put your own little twist on them, and enjoy every last bite.

With love,

Cocoa Petite 🤎

Nectarine Oat Cups

Brown Sugar Oat Crumble · Cocoa Petite Salted Caramel

A little taste of autumn

Baked, juicy nectarines covered in a buttery brown sugar oat crumble and, of course, topped off with a generous drizzle of salted caramel.

The perfect start to the season. Warm, cozy, and simple! It’s the kind of little treat you’ll want to make all season long.

Watch my little step-by-step video below and see how these Nectarine Oat Cups come together.

Now grab your Cocoa Petite Salted Caramel and let's make something sweet.

Nectarine Oat Cups

What You'll Need

Serves 6

  • 3 ripe peaches or nectarines
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp old-fashioned oats
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Cocoa Petite Salted Caramel, for drizzling
  • Oven or Air fryer

01 · Prep the Fruit

Oven : Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Air fryer: no need to preheat

Slice the nectarines or peaches in half and remove the pits. Place the fruit cut-side up in a baking dish.

02 · Make the Crumble

In a small bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Add the melted butter and mix until everything is combined and crumbly.

03 · Fill & Bake

Spoon the oat crumble into the center of each nectarine or peach.

Oven: Bake at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes, or until the fruit is tender and the crumble is golden.

Air Fryer: Bake at 320°F for approximately 12 minutes.

Cooking times may vary depending on your fruit and appliance.

04 · The Best Part

Remove the nectarines from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Then comes the good part...

Drizzle generously with Cocoa Petite Salted Caramel.

Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. (Personally, I love them chilled / room temp)

✨✨✨

Save this recipe for the next time you have a few ripe nectarines or peaches waiting on the counter.

And don't forget the caramel!

STORAGE

These are best enjoyed the same day while the fruit and crumble are fresh.

If you have leftovers, store them covered in the refrigerator and enjoy within 1 day.

Let me know how they turn out! 🤎 Tag @cocoapetite, I’d love to see them!
